Vanset Oy customer register
PURPOSE OF THE DATA FILE AND WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED
The personal data in the register is used for communicating about and developing Vanset Oy's services, as well as for marketing and sales activities. The data is stored for as long as necessary for the purposes mentioned above.
The register may contain the following information: name, address, phone number, email address, age, order details, details of the company the person represents, information related to the customer relationship, customer feedback, prize draw and competition entries, any profiling and interest information provided by the customer, and any other information collected with the customer's consent.
REGULAR SOURCES OF DATA
Data is collected from the customer directly — verbally, by email, via forms, online, in connection with the customer's order, and from the customer's driving licence, passport or identity card — and possibly from public registers.
DISCLOSURE OF DATA
As a rule, customer data is not disclosed to any party other than for the data controller's (Vanset Oy) own purposes and for processing orders. Where necessary, we disclose data to the authorities, insurance companies, the Nets payment service, our accounting firm, and the Procountor accounting software.
PRINCIPLES OF DATA PROTECTION
The information system and the data are stored with technical protection. The register data is accessed only by persons whose job duties require it, as well as separately designated technical personnel. All of the above-mentioned persons are bound by confidentiality.
RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT
The data subject has the right to inspect, rectify or erase data concerning them. The data subject has the right to opt out of direct marketing and advertising from the data controller, as well as opinion polls and market research. In matters concerning inspection, rectification or opt-outs, the data subject may contact the party administering the data file by email.
